Content Design/UX Writing plays a huge role in the success and otherwise of a product, no matter how large a market for a digital product is, its content can be the reason for its failure if not properly designed.
Using the QuickCheck app, I discovered some UX Writing problems that can harm the product's popularity among users and ROI. For instance, the onboarding screens failed in providing new users with the benefits of the app and also has a vague "Let's start" CTA, it took me a while to sign up too as my OTP wasn't sent in on time. I will however restrict my case study to the following;
The Problem
The copy underplays the importance of the app and doesn't sound attractive enough for a first time user of the app.
The Solution
I redesigned the headline to sell one of the brand’s USPs; the ability to disburse loans in minutes. The body copy explains how much users can get after signing up.
I shortened the amounts too to allow users to scan the copies within a very short time and take the necessary action without overthinking.
